One of Scarborough's landmarks, visible from different locations. Originally it did mill corn etc, after wind damage the sails were removed and it was converted to steam power. After many different uses it was finally rescued and converted into a bed and breakfast establishment. My picture shows two people emerging from the B & B carrying a suitcase. Alterrnative title : 'We should have booked'
W is for vWindmill is the twenyfourth page in my limited eidition book titled 'An Alphabet of Scarborouygh', published in an edition of just 26 fully bound copies in 2017
